CARECHECK
Stress hides in plain sight. Even when you talk every day.
CareCheck reads your chat with a parent, partner or friend and shows the mental strain they may be carrying and you may be missing: what changed for them, where they are heading, and what to do before it gets worse.
Before you use CareCheck, one thing to know. The first reading of a chat runs entirely on your own device and nothing is sent anywhere. CareCheck also offers an optional deep read, and that one is performed by a third-party AI service: a condensed extract of the chat is sent to Fugumobile (our server at vision-suite.ai) and processed by Anthropic PBC using the Claude API, which does not train on it and does not keep it after the reading is returned. CareCheck always asks your permission on screen first, and you can say no and keep everything on your phone. Read the privacy policy.
How it works
Three steps, two minutes.
What you get
From messages to what to do next.
- Stress level, 1 to 5
- Where it's heading
- What they asked you for
- Three things to do this week
The reading model
Built to catch what daily contact hides.
Familiarity is the blind spot. When you read someone every day, a slow slide into stress vanishes into routine. CareCheck's reading model takes the whole history at once, measures it against their own baseline, and points to the exact words, so you can act before it is too late.
Good to know
Questions, answered.
Short answers. The full method is one tap away inside the app.
What does CareCheck look for?
Signs of mental strain in everyday messages: worry, low mood, loneliness, sleep trouble, panic, self-blame, giving-up language, money and health pressure, and the quiet signs such as going silent or asking for you and not being answered.
Is this a diagnosis?
No. It is a careful reading of written words, the way a thoughtful friend would read them. It does not replace a doctor, counsellor, or crisis line. If you think someone is in danger, reach out today.
Whose chats can I use?
Only chats you are part of and have a right to use, to care for family and friends. Not for monitoring a partner, an employee, or anyone who would object.
Which apps and languages?
WhatsApp, Telegram, LINE, KakaoTalk, Viber, Messenger and Instagram export directly; iMessage, WeChat and Signal work with a short copy step. Step-by-step for each app. English, Hindi, Bengali, Urdu and romanised mixes on device; the deep read handles most languages.
What leaves my phone?
Nothing for the on-device pass. The optional deep read is performed by a third-party AI service: a condensed extract goes to our server at vision-suite.ai and on to Anthropic PBC, whose Claude API does the reading, does not train on it and does not keep it afterwards. CareCheck asks your permission before sending, every time, and you can decline and keep the reading on your phone. No accounts, no copies.
Ready to check on someone?
Two minutes. No account. Nothing stored.
BEFORE YOU START
A few things to agree on.
CareCheck exists to help you care for someone, not to watch them.
Where your chat is read, and who reads it
The first reading happens entirely on this device. Nothing is sent anywhere, and no account is needed.
CareCheck also offers an optional deep read, which is performed by a third-party AI service. If you choose it, CareCheck sends a condensed extract of the chat — message counts and dates, up to about 1,000 of the other person’s messages word for word with their dates, a few of your own replies for context, and the two names as they appear in the chat. The exported file, media, phone numbers, contacts and your location are never sent.
That extract is received by Fugumobile (our relay server at vision-suite.ai, which keeps no copy) and processed by Anthropic PBC using the Claude API. Anthropic does not train on it and does not keep it after the reading is returned.
CareCheck will ask your permission on screen before anything is sent, every time, and you can say no and keep the reading on your phone. Full detail is in the privacy policy.
STEP 1 OF 2
Add the chat.
A chat export from any messaging app, as .txt, .zip or .json, up to 20 MB. Read in your browser, not uploaded at this step. How to export from WhatsApp, Telegram, iMessage, WeChat and more.
Stuck with the export? Paste the chat.
Select the messages in your app, copy, and paste here. Dates help; without them the timeline is skipped but the words are still read.
Reminder: this screen reads the chat on your device. If you later choose the optional deep read, an extract is sent to a third-party AI service (Anthropic PBC) and CareCheck will ask you first.
No chat to hand? — a short fictional chat, so you can see the whole flow.
